Weather - Summer over the savannah is harsh, with scorching heat and a sun that never seems to stop beating down on the hard, cracked floor. Water is scarce, but still trees like the acacia survive, providing at least a little bit of shade for you to sit under. When it does rain, it absolutely pours down, huge thunderstorms rolling in from far away. They can provide a welcome relief, but soon you find yourself thirsty and in need of a drink, so be careful. The nights are cooler, but a warm breeze still runs in the air.
Breeding? - Yes Birthing? - Yes
Welcome
Welcome to Savannah Elements! We are a new roleplay, revolving around lions and cheetahs, each with a magical element. If you want to know the full details, please read the rules, where the plot can also be found, if you are perhaps a little confused as to what we are all about.
At this site, we strive to help people improve on their roleplaying skills, as well as play together, experianced or not. So for the moment, there is no limit to how much, or how little, you have to post. However, don't be offended if we offer you roleplaying lessons, as we only want to help you improve, and then you can leave here with more knowledge on the subject each day.
Also, I am looking for staff at the moment. But be warned - If you ask me, you immediatly loose all chances! Instead, I will just be watching how you all behave, and picking who I see fit to help out.
If you have any questions, or want help with something, then you can email me at savannahelements11@yahoo.com, and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.
So enjoy the site, everyone! I hope you all enjoy your stay!

The Lubaya Lands
Hangman's Point The main meeting point for the Lubaya pack, Hangman’s Point is a large outcrop of rock, jutting out from the ground at a strange angle. It is quite tall, but is used for no other reason than to get above the head height of all the other lions when a meeting is in session. It is a place to be treated with respect, and only those with authority are allowed to climb on it. Moderator: Zodiac

Sleeping Caves Sleeping Caves are just like their name suggests – An underground labyrinth where the lions usually come to sleep. The whole area is kept cool by a constant breeze which comes in the entrance, which itself is situated at the foot of a giant mountain. Animals can probably find a little alcove for themselves, and only those with authority can have a whole cave to themselves. Don’t get lost… Moderator: Zodiac

Crystal Lake Crystal Lake is larger than your average watering hole – A huge lake that stretches on for quite a distance; it looks strangely out of place in the otherwise usually dry savannah. All different species come to drink the fresh waters here, so prey is usually easy to find. Young lions with the water element will usually come here to practise their special skills… Moderator: Zodiac
Dusty Plains Dusty Plains take up most of the pack’s lands, and go on for what can seem like miles. Dry, open savannah, the floor is cracked and hard in summer, but can even get slightly waterlogged when the terrible thunderstorms cross over the lands. Tall acacia trees are dotted around, whilst occasionally a wide baobab will grow. A great place to chase and run around, a lot of lions come here just to keep themselves fit and active. Forest Grass Forest Grass is so called because the blades that sprout there grow to extreme heights, and is sometimes known to animals as ‘Elephant Grass’. Most cubs simply love to play here, and many come to practise their elements, preparing themselves in case the time one day calls on them to step up and fight. Hide and seek is a popular game, as in certain places, the green grass is all you can see… Moderator: Zodiac
Termite Mounds The Termite Mounds are just huge piles of earth, made not surprisingly by termites. Cheetahs enjoy seeing who can climb the highest, and seeing who can get to the top, but the tallest mound is only for a cheetah to climb when a meeting is to take place. Whilst young cubs enjoy scampering around the bases, you should still be careful when visiting this place, as you don’t want to upset any of those towers… Moderator: Zodiac
Watering Hole The Watering Hole is a pool of water, the only one around for a distance, and pretty much all the animals in this area come here to drink. Because of this, prey is bountiful, and it’s a good place to teach young cubs how to hunt. The waters are fresh and cool, and taste good to the thirsty cheetahs. A few trees grow around the banks, and provide perfect shade. Moderator: Zodiac
Desert Plains Desert Plains take up much of the Zahabu lands – Dryer than the lions lands, water is scarce, and only come here if you are pretty sure you can last at least a few more hours. Occasionally, herds of wildebeest will blunder across the open land, and the expert hunters may even be able to bring one down. A good place to practise your element skills, a lot of adults come here to perfect their powers. Moderator: Zodiac

Acacia Hideout Acacia Hideout is unusual in many ways – A group of the tall, thin trees seems to have formed a perfect circle, for whatever reason. It makes a lot of the cheetahs wonder how it came to be there, but for the cubs, it’s a mystery they don’t want to be answered. A nice place to just come and relax, mothers sometimes sit around here whilst their children play together, teaching themselves their special elemental skills. Moderator: Zodiac
Mountain Ridge Mountain Ridge is not nearly as big or impressive as it sounds – Instead, it is a strange area where hundreds of large rocks just jut out of the ground. It earned its name from the young cheetahs, to whom it looks like a huge mountain range. They come here to play and learn, but just make sure you don’t slip off the ledges – You could have a nasty fall indeed. Moderator: Zodiac
Hunting Fields Hunting Fields stretch on for miles, wide open grasslands that at certain times of year are bustling with prey. Antelope, wildebeest, zebras… All come here to graze. Only a few animals come here to hunt alone, and instead, huge pack hunts will take place on the open fields, which can grow to be very exciting. No animal is truly safe… Moderator: Zodiac
The Great Cliffs The Great Cliffs are huge pieces of natural art, which all animals treat with the greatest respect. Like a large staircase, two separate pieces of land seem to be stacked on top of each other, with tremendous falls down the side. If you fell off here, you would surely die. Some say that here was the first place that the lions and cheetahs were ever given elemental powers, and most find it magical place to be indeed. Moderator: Zodiac
Misty Graveyard The Misty Graveyard is a solemn and scary place, with huge bones looming to every side of you. A lot of creatures come here to die, and indeed, rotting carcasses lay everywhere, a putrid smell on the air. The darker animals enjoy hanging out here, and hide in the shadows, waiting to pounce on the unwary. Be careful, no matter who you are… Moderator: Zodiac

Rainbow Falls Rainbow Falls are so named because giant spectrums of light shine through the misty waters, plunging down into the lake below. The river started off small, far back in the savannah, and no one has ever really bothered to venture into its origins. Lots of animals come here not to drink, but to watch the cascading water fall so far down, and it can sometimes be an extremely powerful sight. Moderator: Zodiac
Paradise River Paradise River runs past at a gentle pace, not overpowering or deadly, and instead it is a beautiful place to come and visit. Young couples often come here to give birth to lovely young cubs, and indeed it can be quite romantic to be here. Tall trees grow next to the river to provide shade even in the hottest days, and even at night, there is always a comfortable temperature. Moderator: Zodiac
